What's new events

What are 'What's new' events?

'What's new' events become the version history of a protocol or review when it is published on the Cochrane Library. These are added in the Dates and events section in Review Manager (RevMan) and are viewable on the Cochrane Library under 'About this review' → 'Version history'.

'What's new events' can be added by authors but should be reviewed by editors before publication.

See Dates and events in RevMan Knowledge Base for background, general rules, and key implementation information for editors and authors.

Withdrawn articles

The withdrawal of a published Cochrane review or protocol automatically creates a new citation version. To withdraw, see the editorial policy on withdrawal of published articles and the Editorial Manager process.
