Why this decision was taken

  • Some reviews list dozens of secondary outcomes in their methods section, many of which are not addressed in any of the studies or analyses
  • Annotation of all of these secondary outcomes could actually make it more difficult for users to discover relevant Cochrane content
  • Review authors now provide a Summary of Findings table that includes the most important outcomes for which they have data
