All changes you make to your review in RevMan are automatically and continuously saved. You are always viewing the current version. There is no need to click a ‘Save’ button to save changes.

The auto-save function does NOT create back-up copies in the database, or on the review history. Tag a version to store a version on the review history.

Tag current version

Review Dashboard > Actions > Tag Current Version. This will open a new window where you can enter a brief description of the version.

Tag a version

  • when you finish an editing session
  • before and after making substantial changes to your review.

Tagged versions appear on the review history and help you and your co-authors keep track of what has been done, by whom and when.
