  • Two modes for editing Summary of Findings (SoF) tables managed by GRADEpro:
    • 'Edit' takes you directly to GRADEpro to edit the table
    • 'Edit and update' updates the SoF with analysis data from RevMan and then takes you to edit the page
    • PICO and table name only pulled in from RevMan analysis group on creation, not on Edit and Update 
  • Save forest plot as SVG or PNG in analysis 

 

  • Save forest plots and figures as SVG and PNG
  • Remove restriction for study characteristics in full-text view (if more than 100 studies)

 

  • Copy analyses to clipboard
  • Find and replace in references

Update of text editor, including:

  • Spellchecker with ability to move to next and updated style for better usability
  • You can now navigate to links within the review and to external webpages when you are editing the review (previously only available in the view generated from the History) and you can now also edit existing links.
  • Updated version of track changes with resolved issues and improved styling for better visibility
  • Improved table editing with the ability to align cells and issues with merging cells resolved

Improvements made to Sources of Support: 

  • If no sources of support are entered into RevMan Web, the section will automatically contain default text that says "No sources of support provided"
  • For sources of support that do not pertain to a particular country, "Other" was added to the country list and can now be selected

Check out to RevMan 5 is not possible if invalid content has been inserted in RevMan Web.

If you have inserted invalid content while working in RevMan Web, you may see error messages when you:
- try to check out the review to edit it in RevMan 5
- access the review in another tool such as GRADEpro

Invalid content may include a figure added without a file and not properly deleted, material added from an online source which contains incompatible formatting, references where certain fields contain more than 50 characters (creates problems with XML formatting).

Work in RevMan Web without checking out into RevMan 5.

Type text directly into RevMan Web without copying from another source. 

If you are inserting material from an online source, please consider copying the text into Notepad first, to remove incompatible formatting, before pasting into RevMan Web. 

Copy and paste from another source when track changes is switched on.

When copying and pasting text from Word or another source with track changes switched on in RevMan Web, track changes will only be visible when you click to leave the text box.

Type text directly into RevMan Web without copying from another source. 

If you are inserting material from an online source, please consider copying the text into Notepad first, to remove incompatible formatting, before pasting into RevMan Web. 

PRISMA flow diagram breaks in Firefox.

When using Firefox and adding a PRISMA flow diagram, the flow diagram is not shown properly.
