Add ORCID iD

• Log in to Editorial Manager as an author, and select the arrow next to your name in the top right-hand corner.
• Select Update My Information. 

• Click on the link next to the ORCID field to open the ORCID login/registration page. On the ORCID confirmation page, select 'Authorize' to connect your ORCID to your EM account. You will then be redirected to the EM page automatically, where you will see that the ORCID field has been populated and a green icon appears next to it. 

  • Note: If you deny the authorization request, the ORCID iD will not be populated in your EM account.

• Click 'Submit' at the bottom of the page to save.

Co-author ORCID iD

• If you are a co-author on a Cochrane review and wish for your ORCID iD to be published on the Cochrane Library alongside your name, the corresponding author will need to add this when submitting to Editorial Manager.
• This should be added when composing the author list at the point of submission. 
• Post-publication amendments to add ORCID iDs will not be permitted.
