Add ORCID iD

 By adding your ORCID iD in Editorial Manager, your unique researcher identity will appear alongside your name on your published review on the Cochrane Library. Read more: Recognising authorship with ORCID.


  • Log in to Editorial Manager as an author, and select the arrow next to your name in the top right-hand corner.
  • Select Update My Information. 

  • Click on the link next to the ORCID field to open the ORCID login/registration page. On the ORCID confirmation page, select 'Authorize' to connect your ORCID to your EM account. You will then be redirected to the EM page automatically, where you will see that the ORCID field has been populated and a green icon appears next to it. 

    • Note: If you deny the authorization request, the ORCID iD will not be populated in your EM account.

  • Click 'Submit' at the bottom of the page to save.
