To skip multiple tasks

You can do it either in the workflow's task list:

  1. Open the workflow's Properties sheet and go to the Tasks tab
  2. Choose the 'Not Started' task from the task list
  3. Right- click the task and choose Skip To
  4. Click OK and confirm that you want to skip the tasks until a task becomes in progress

or the task's Properties sheet:

  2. This opens the task's Properties sheet
  3. Click Skip To
  4. Click OK and confirm that you want to skip the tasks until a task becomes in progress
  5. Click Close

Note: When skipping/completing tasks earlier than their due date, all remaining tasks are moved forward in time, but the duration of individual remaining tasks is not affected. The Workflow end date is moved forward by the number of days 'saved', for example, by the total number of days originally allotted for the completed or skipped tasks.
