A workflow task can be completed either via a ticket email (see About tickets ) or in Archie.

To complete a task:

You can do it either via a workflow's task list:

  1. Open the workflow's Properties sheet and go to the Tasks tab.
  2. Choose the task 'In Progress' from the task list.
  3. Right- click the task and choose Complete.

or a task's Properties sheet:

  1. Double-click the task 'In Progress'. This opens the task's Properties sheet
  2. Go to the General tab.
  3. Choose Complete in the Status option.
  4. Click Apply.

Tip:You can complete an assigned task to you from the Tasks In Progress list on the Organizer tab.

Note:  When completing or skipping a task earlier than its due date, all remaining tasks are moved forward in time, but the duration of individual remaining tasks is not affected. The Workflow end date is moved forward by the number of days 'saved', for example, by the total number of days originally allotted for the completed or skipped tasks.

To reactivate a completed task:

You can do it either via a workflow's task list:

  1. Open the workflow's Properties sheet and go to the Tasks tab.
  2. Choose the 'Completed' task from the task list.
  3. Right- click the task and choose Reactivate and then click OK for confirmation.

or a task's Properties sheet:

  1. Double-click the 'Completed' task. This opens the task's Properties sheet
  2. Go to the General tab.
  3. Click Reactivate and then click OK for confirmation.

Note:  When a completed  task is reactivated, all  remaining tasks are moved back in time by the number of days allotted to the reactivated task, but the duration of individual  remaining tasks is not affected. The workflow end date is moved back by the number of days allotted to the reactivated task.

Note: Sometimes when you reactivate a task, the system may not show tasks In Progress. In order to fix the problem, refresh (press F5) the workflow's window.
